Why I write what I write

I knew from a very early age that I was fascinated with transformations. The first piece of media that I can remember that had me interested was the scene in the 1988 movie Willow.

There was something about these people transforming against their will that fascinated me. Some other pieces of media that come to mind are an episode of Rescue Rangers where they get head-swapped with each other.

And many other kids shows that I watched would have an episode or two about body swapping or possession or similar material.
I've always like body horror for this reason. Movies like The Fly(1986) for instance, or several goosebumps books like Chicken Chicken where the horror aspect comes from someone changing into something else against their will.

It wasn't until high school that I got the internet and discovered that there were lots of other people that were fascinated by people transforming. I found a website called fictionmania. It's still around today. I discovered many erotic stories where the characters were body swapped or changed. The first ones I read were mainly body swap stories. But I always preferred the stories where characters changed piece by piece, and had to hide it. Not just the physical change, but the physical change would signal that a mental change was coming. The character battling these new feelings and desires was always my favorite part. And of course the trying not to be found out.

Then I discovered mind control stories, like on mcstories.com (which is still around). They were sort of a similar idea. But instead of your body changing, your mind would be altered. And it tied in with my fascination with physical transformations. As I got older, I tried to figure out what about these things was exciting to me. Through real life experimentation I have discovered that I enjoy surrendering, being dominated.

So I think it has something to do with a subconscious desire to be dominated. Mentally and physically. That might be why I like stories where men are compelled in some way, whether it is with a physical change or a mental change, to start experimenting sexually in a way they never would before. Whether that is with new body parts, or with people they wouldn't do it with normally. Like with another man. Or with a family member(my fascination with the transgressive aspects of some sex or erotica is perhaps a story for another day).
On kindle, my stories will be less transgressive. It is not as welcome there. But I am working on finding an alternative venue to publish more racy stuff. Not sure about what model I am going to use. I am also looking into the best way to promote myself for commission work, the price structure, etc.
